Greetings from the lands of baguettes and Bratwurst!

Hello... from the lands of cheese and talking breads(France, Germany). I just wanted to make a post since I graduated so here I am in France. Germany was blast! There were some pretty cool guitars there. I saw the same type of bass Paul McCartney plays. I watched Bernd das Brot the way he was meant to be seen, on tv. Saw Volkswagen HQ, and factory, and played in its thene park. there was the famed bugatti veyron with 1001 hp. I have just arrived in france and will tell you more. Until then Tchuss!!! Au revoir!!!!!! Keep watching toast!! mist

I am in need of a four string sword!

I am looking for a new bass to play and the one I want is something called a "Flying V". You may have seen it some where in the pictures, and now I need a bass version. Can you please tell me where I can buy, rent, or check out this cool instrument. The body looks like the letter v, and is pretty rare but if you see one, please comment.

P.S. A bass guitar has four strings rather than the usual six on a guitar. Don't confuse the two.

Seeya!!

A Midsummer Nights Dream Act Final assignment

6: I thought doing the play in class and actually acting it out, was great I loved doing that. I think I wouldn't have enjoyed the play any other way. The way we read the play was great i really enjoyed being the character. Plus the No Fear Shakespeare translation really helped me to understand what's going on. I thought the playitself was good to it my have been the first of all those famous love stories we hear of now about a love twist.
2:If I was on stage, the character I would want to be is Puck. I like hi because he is a mischievous guy who causes all the trouble. It kinda reminds me of myself. I can't really say more about that.
1: I'd call it Love Blinds because it shows that love can blind you from reality as shown in the story. In the story the potion blinds them to think they love someone else. They cannot see what really is.

A Midsummer Nights Dream Act 5

Act Five is the last last act of the play. All that pretty much happens is that the actors perform their play in front of the duke, and duchess. Their performance was bad yet the audience was polite enough to stay and listen. At the end, Robin stated to the real audience that all of this was nothing but a dream and that none of this actually happened.

A Midsummer Nights Dream Act 4

We left off the four lovers sleeping with all their boyfriends and girlsfriends. All but Demetrius is free of the love juice. Oberon told puck to leave him alone because he still feels bad about Helena. So he leaves him alone so they can be a happy couple and everyone else won't have to suffer. In the meantime Oberon finds that his wife is in love with Bottom (who's head is still that of an ass), and feels bad for what he has done. So he undoes the love spell when Titania and Bottom are sleeping near the others. Oberon had already taunted her for loving a donkey and had said he'll remove the spell if he would have the Indian prince. Oberon calls for music as Titania wakes up and is shock to be sleeping with the donkey. She goes to Oberon and they both dance. Then they run while the morning is coming. Puck restores Bottom's head and follows after them.
Theseus, Hippolyta, and Egeus walk in to the scene, seeing the four lovers. They all awake. Theseus damnds they tell why they're here. They can only say it was like a dream. They all can't remember much. Theseus, Hippolyta, and Egeus realize that Lysander and Hermia love each other and so do Demetrius and Helena. So Theseus decides to have a big wedding feast and they all leave. Bottom awakens and recalls what he thought was a dream and decides, he'll have Quince put it in at the end of the play.
Scene two is when the weddings are going on and is also when Bottom meet up with his team of actors to start preparing to perform the play at the wedding. yet it already happened so it will be after the wedding.

A Midsummer Nights Dream Act 3

In act 3 of our book The group of actors are meeting in the forest to rehearse their play. As usual Bottom is being a, well, bottom. He is being self centered as usual, when puck decides to transform bottoms head into a donkey's head for fun, or maybe it was to get back at bottom for being self centered. Now all the other actors run away, because they think he's a monster. He stumbles upon Titania when she wakes up and she falls in love with him. Titania promises to have everything he requests, done. He might even be turned into a fairy
Scene 2 is a lot more confusing so bear with me. Hermia, is looking for Lysander and runs into Demetrius. Puck realizes this mistake, and Oberon does too and he immediately assigns Puck to remedy them. Hermia soon gets suspicious and accuses Demetrius of killing Lysander. Demetrius denies and Hermia gets angry in disbelief. Demetrius thinks this is pointless and decides to fall asleep as Hermia goes on to find Lysander. Oberon tells puck to find Hermia, and Puck put the flower juice on Demetrius. Helen drops in with Lysander begging for her love. Demetrius wakes up and sees Helena. Demetrius falls in love with her. They all argue. Lysander and Demetrius fight over Helena, and she thinks it's all a trick played by Hermia. Hermia appears and is flabbergasted to find that Lysander doesn't love him anymore. Demetrius and Lysander fight over who really loves who and challenge each other to a duel. Lysander tries to find Demetrius when he ran away. Puck tricks him into thinking he's Demetrius. Lysander decides to quit running around and falls asleep. Puck does the same with everyone else and make them fall asleep with the remedy on their eyes so that everyone falls in love with who they are supposed to.

Does anyone have any books they recommend for me once I finish Cirque Du Freak? Please don't say Twilight, Breaking Dawn, New moon, or Eclipse ok?

Midsummer Night's Dream Act 2

The fairy king Oberon, was having an argument with his wife Titania, about whether their "son", the Indian prince, should become a page, or a soldier. They argue over everything and never seem to like each other. Oberon's plan to solve this is to squirt some juice from a flower which has been hit with one of cupid's arrows, on to Titania's eyes to make her love the next thing she sees. He plan that to be Oberon so she loves him and so she'll let him do what he wants. He Also sees Demetrius and Helena arguing. Oberon felt bad for Helena and decided to use some of that love juice on Demetrius to get back at him for being so mean the Helena. He tells puck to do this but mistakes Lysander, who is with Hermia. Now Lysander loves Helena who came into his view 1st. He follows her leaving Hermia behind in panic.

Thoughts from the bread

Bernd the Bread said a very thoughtful quote which was actually quoted from another guy and it went like this.

"If you think life is heck, it isn't your life. It's the people in it."-anonymous

He/She is absolutely right. The people in your life is what really makes the difference. What do you think makes your life what it is?

Sweet Machine!

The car pictured here (or it would be if there weren't some technical difficulties!) is the Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4. The most powerful, the fastest and probably the most exclusive production car ever. For this, it has been my favorite car of all time. It comes in many versions such as the roadster version here, the Sang Noir (french phrase), the Pur Sang (also a french phrase), the Par Hermes edition, and the regular coupe version. Please say what you will about this car. Thank you.

A Midsummer Nights Dream

In Mr Gallo's class were reading A Midsummer Nights Dream by William Shakespeare. This is how the first act went.

The duke of Athens, Theseus, is engaged to Hippolyta, the leader of the Amazons. While Wedding preparations are being made Egeus, one of the noblemen, has a daughter Hermia who is supposed to marry a man named Demetrius. Yet Hermia want to marry someone called Lysander. They Loved each other deeply but, Hermia is supposed to marry Demetrius. Hermia Must make her decision whether she want do it or not by the time Theseus' wedding start four days later. If she chooses no, she will have to either die, or never see a man ever again. Meanwhile Hermia's best friend, Helena, loves Demetrius despite him dumping her. Lysander suggests to Hermia that they run away and meet in the forest. Yet Helena plans to tell Demetrius so he can screw things and maybe he'll like her for telling him.
In scene 2 a group of actors are basically preparing for a play that they will perform at the wedding. They plan to rehearse in the forest.

Like books that will make your skin crawl?

Check out the Cirque Du Freak saga by Darren Shan. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. There are so many touches of horror and macabre. I could have never said anything like that for any other book. I recommend.

Thoughts from the bread

An old friend used to say that life is like a lottery game. You never get what you want. So why must you pay? Please comment and share your thoughts.
